Frequently asked questions
Do you sell bottled water coolers?
No! Selling bottled water coolers would seriously conflict with all our environment policies and besides, mains fed machines are far more cost effective 99% of the time.
Can I buy a water cooler instead of renting one?
Yes! We both sell and rent our water machines to offer the widest possible solutions for our customers. Over the long term purchasing your water coolers can be more cost effective but renting a machine means handing over less money upfront.
Can you install our water cooler and what does installation involve?
Yes! Our engineers are fully qualified to install all of our water machines. The exact installation process depends on the individual site but generally a white food grade flexi-pipe will connect at the back of the machine to a self-piercing valve fitted onto a mains water pipe. The filter is then inserted and the machine is plugged in and flushed through. Your water cooler is then ready to use.
Can you complete maintenance on our existing water coolers?
Yes! We can carry out maintenance on a number of other plumbed in water cooler models. Generally all the machines work in the same way so our engineers are fully capable of thoroughly servicing all your existing POU machines.
How do I find out if a mains fed water cooler is suitable for my office?
You only need 2 requirements for a POU water cooler:
- A plug socket within 1m of where you would like the machine
- A mains water feed within 30m of where you would like the machine

Can I have hot and cold water?
Yes! All our water coolers are available with hot and cold water. These machines have extra safety features to help prevent accidents. The hot water temperature varies slightly from one water cooler model to the next but will always reach 90 degrees Celsius.
Can I have sparkling water?
Yes! Our Technicool WL3000 model has a cold and sparkling option.
There is limited space in my office. What is the smallest machine available?
All our water coolers come in desktop models. These are roughly half the size of a freestanding machine. For example our Hydropoint desktop water cooler measurements are 31cm Long x 31cm Wide x 52cm High. Desktop water coolers are the perfect alternative for any work area short on space.
What does the rental price include?
All our rental contracts include the following:
 Delivery
Installation*
6 monthly filter changes
6 monthly sanitisation visits
Full breakdown cover for the duration of the contract
All parts (inc. 2 filters per annum)
* Free installation is subject to site survey. Only in the rare occasions where extra materials and labour are needed for installation will there be an extra charge.
Do your prices include VAT?
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT
What service options are available?
Our standard rental contracts last for either 3 or 5 years. However if you require something different please get in contact with us as we will always try to cater for your specific needs. Payments are made quarterly with the first payment made on installation.
Do you recycle your water coolers?
A WEEE charge is incorporated into every machine rented or purchased so that at the end of its life the machine will be completely recycled.
I am moving offices during the middle of my water cooler contract. Will you move the machine over to our new premises?
Yes! We will come and remove your water cooler from your old premises and install it at your new site (providing the new site meets the minimum requirements necessary for a mains fed machine) free of charge.
